Hey, I am considering purchasing either a Tippmann Custom Pro with e-grip and cyclone feed. Or I might get an ion. It seems the ion would be a bit cheeper but any input? Currently I have a 98custom with collapsable stock, J&J Ceramic Barrel, and double trigger.

Custom pro definatly with cyclone.or put a cyclone on your 98 and you can egrip it as well or even a r/t, then you will not need an expensive battery operated hopper to feed it...Just my opinion!

Smacked to MvM

And I'd go with the Ion...more efficient, faster, and lighter...

Are you using Co2 or Comp. Air?
Go with the Ion if you have a place with Comp. Air. I liked mine alot, it was fast, light, perfect.
If you don't have any access to Comp. Air then go for the custom pro. Can't really go wrong with a tippy.

You can get HPA for as low as 50 bucks if you look around...its no big deal...

Thanks for the replies! First off it is for mostly woodsball, maybe some speedball every once in a great while. My friend just got an ion and he uses CO2 with it. I'd like to get an e-grip and cyclone feed but my gun is to old to have an e-grip. I was considering buying a responce trigger with cyclone feed but I heard the responce triggers are very hard to get set. If I go with the Ion two of my other friends are too and the I might buy a Comp. Air tank since Comp. air is a bit more efficient and cheeper than CO2.

I use my ion for woodsball. These ups make the ion amazing for the woods:

1.tactical body kit with red dot scope
2.cammo stiffi

all you need
