Reading that with some good metal playing in the background makes it even more touching. I love it.

To be honest, I don't think it's necessary to take the debate to the level that we need a platform from which to base our game on. A friend of mine plays Speedball only and makes fun of the fact that we use Tippmann's and our games take hours. But I don't play Woodsball or wear camo as a protest against the flashy, expensive and arrogant world that surrounds Speedball. I play it because I like it, that simple. The guys that work in the local pro shop snicker under their breath at us when we enter the store, decked out in camoflauge. But hey, just fix my gun and we'll be fine. I don't see it as a colossal battle between the two. Really, it's like baseballers calling football players dumb for running into each other all day. The games are just too different for one to be termed "better" or "purer" than the other.

That would look sweet on the back of one of the Spec Ops T-shirt.

As far as the speedball vs. woodsball thing, I must say that I look at paintball magazines and feel bad for the people who have talent but who can't compete with these other teams because they don't have enough money. That's why I like woodsball, everyone competes on a relatively even playing field. When I go and play spedball I get killed because my gun doesn't shoot millions of balls per second. In woodsball there is nothing like that. A person that has never played before can take out a person who has been playing for years if he(or she) just hides in a bush or sits in a tree. Another thing good about woodsball is even if you don't win the game is not a complete loss, you still have a comraderie that cannot be found among teams in speedball. I have never been in an argument involving woodsballers even on different teams, but speedballers...........

Sheesh! that was a long post. blah blah blah
