I've used it twice now since i've gotten it and im very impressed.
I had a recon vest, but wasn't halling enough paint, expessially for biggames/scenarios, so i upgraded to fit my Commander/Broadsword role a bit better.
The Broadsword 06 is very similar to the Broadsword vest, but with some nice things. It has an awsome velcro name tag on the back above the horizantal (L or R) bottle holder, and at Cops911 u can get a custom nametag to fit to the vest perfectly in any writing u want!(i belive it is done with silkscreen). It also has the SpecOps logo all over it (can u say walking buildboard) but it actually makes it look very professional and intimidating. The grenade pockets are also great for any kind of grenade, and all the pockets are great!

The main difference i think though is the straps at the bottom of the vest. They are there i believe so that u can have a pistol belt for ur pistol and/or the other specialops legrigs. + it keeps the vest secure in the front so that ur grenades aren't shaking all over the place.
This was pretty brief, but i'll answer any questions about it for anyone.
Overall 10/10 on the NEW BROADSWORD 06 VEST!

Will get pics soon!

Im a little confused about the id and other pocket the vest has on the front, what can these 2 pockets hold?

Are their interior pockets on the inside of the vest or no?

Have you tried using a hydration bladder with the vest yet, just wondering if it held the bladder ok.

Yes, the water blader fits great in the vest!
There are no interior pockets in the vest.
The top ID pocket can hold tools/map (has a tool/map compartment in the pouch so when u open the pouch nothing falls out. And the front flap can hold ID for scenarios and stuff like that.
The bottom utility pouch can hold anything really(barrel sock, tools, ect..). But i just bought an extra grenade pouch to put there instead. Also for this pouch i used to carry three podrockets in it on my old recon vest.

ANOTHER IMPORTANT MESSAGE! If you like to be very fast and manuverable on the field THIS IS NOT FOR YOU! The more i use this vest the more i realize how weighed down i am. (this is ok, cause although i play commander/broadsword in the front, my daggers are still ahead of me lol).

BUT if you are going for speed and packing alot of ammo, get the new DAGGER VEST! MY one dagger uses the vest and my other uses the old recon, and they are both very fast in them.

Also if you are a smaller guy i dont reccomend the Broadsword vest, i'm 14yrs old, but 5'9 and 170lbs, not huge but big enough to lug this baby around, but if your 5ft and 100lbs u might run into trouble lol.

I just recently aquired a Broadsword in Green.

Quite luckily actually, won it through a "raffle" at a Blackcat game..

The vest is extremely comfortable with more than ample shoulder support. I've givene it a quick walk around with a full back and other than the weight itself it's no burden at all. I was considering trading it in for a Dagger/recon vest because I never plan on using quite so much paint in one game or scenario..However the comfort alone of this vest compared to my buddies Dagger makes me want to keep this one, not only that it's completely modular, not needing all the pockets if I don't want them. So I can throw in 4 tubes, tighten it up and still sprint with ease.

Great vest..
