Looks pretty cool, but do you have problems with fogging/getting hot? Ventilation is kinda cut off.

No. You can't see it very well but I cut holes in the cloth and it still circulates fine. Only have had that mask get foggy on me once.

I think ill do that with my jt spectra, ive been trying to find a marpat patterned mark but i still cant find one and i dont have the skills to paint it by myself so probably using an old marpat jacket could help.
Nice job!

Thanks. I don't know if you want to use a jacket to cover the helmet. The fabric I used came from a light camouflage bag (really thin material)

Hey Xzivit, you can find Marpat patterned bandannas for pretty cheap, they're thin so they can breathe.

I did the same thing but cut out the vents (painted green) and then screwed them in over top. What did you use to attach the fabric? I used spray-on contact cement and it worked wonders. Hot-glue fixed up some of the corners.

That's pretty cool! I just weaved strips in and out and ended up with dreads.... (My avvy)

I want to get a Spectra and change out. Headshields are gettin too cheap. I don't like the new foam they put around the goggles. Too rough on the face.
