I have been trying to find a field to host some pump games and Chad Roteman has been gracious enough to offer to host a pump scenario. So I wanted to get this out there as soon as I had everything finalized with Mr. Roteman.

Pump only events don't come around here very often; So clear you calender for August 23rd and bring any pump marker that you might have or can find. This will be a pump only scenario based on the French and Indian War.
Chad has even lined up some re-inacters to take part in the game. A $10 entry and the event is BYOP or paint will be available for sale at the event.

The game has already been added to the game locator for those of you who have friends or team-mates that don't visit the forum.

9am Orientation
10am Start (sharp)
1pm - 2:30pm Lunch
5:30 End

There will be "rustic" camping for $10 per night, Co2 and HPA fills available on site along with paint sales (price to be added/updated). Pop, snacks will be available, along with pizza for lunch.

The field address is 5368 Klam Road, Columbiaville, MI 48421

If you have been to this field before, be ready for some improvments over last year. Chad is currently working on adding camp sights, improving parking, adding more restrooms, and offer insertions by vehicle, plus the field now has new bunkers plus more that is expected to be completed by May.

I'm hoping to get a decent turnout, to show that there is some interest in pump play in the area. And I have a few loaner pumps that will be available for use, so if you don't have a pump but would like to play PM me.

If I have a pump by then and can find a way there I'm in like a dirty shirt.
400 miles is a bit of a walk for me though.

Hichhiking is so under-rated anymore. Just hop on a semi headed for Port Huron, MI and we'll get you a ride from there... :D

that happens every year.oh well! they have more than one event.if the email is correct I beleive theres 4 woodsball events and 3 speedball events.you should check out this place medium to heavily wooded with bridges and natural trails all over.I'd say at least 40-50 acres its as big if not bigger than the place in kingston where troys events were.

Yeah, but I've been wanting to try a pump only game for quite some time. I have a pump project I have been working on all winter. Oh well, Maybe next time. I could always try to use a pump at SPPL, lol, ouch....

If nothing major comes up I'll be there. Been waiting for this for quite a while. Is it going to BYOP or is it FPO. I will have a few new gadgets with me. I mad a rig to fill a 10 round tube in about .5 second. :dodgy: Now it won't take me 20 min to fill 40tubes like last time

This is a BYOP field, but paint will be available for sale if needed.

- Treat your weapon as loaded until you positively identify that it is not, and demonstrate that to others to their satisfaction.
- Keep your weapon pointed in a safe direction at all times, especially when in hand.
- Do not point your weapon at anything you are unwilling to shoot.
- Keep your finger out of the trigger well until ready to shoot.

Oooh! Pump only? I'm going to start looking into the possibility of attending. I can't make any promises, though.
Good luck, Goldy.

Well I certainly hope you (and quite a few others) can make it out. If there isn't a decent turnout, I'm afraid that this may not happen again for quite some time. Heck it took a bit of talking to get the field owner to do this one.

Where are you located? Have you heard of the SPE (Spring Pump Event) it is held in Bloomington, IL? A full weekend of pump only action, everything from speedball to woodsball. And the best part is camping is free and it only costs $10 a day to play.
