SPPL Master Player—Any player who has competed in more than one SPPL Major Event/Qualifier in a previous season.
SPPL Rookie Player— Any player who has not played more than one SPPL Major event/qualifier in the prior season, and has no major National Level tournament experience.
All but two of have only competed in one event. It says a Master Player is anyone who has compted in MORE than one event. We have yet to compete in our second SPPL event, with the exception of me and Fingers, who each have two SPPL events under our belts.
If we have to Masters that is fine, since that I was I was going to push for us to play that division anyway. A win is great, but it's not really worth anything if there is no challenge.
But anyway, if you could clarify, that would be great, I don't want my guys trying to get Rookie IDs if they do not fit into that catagory. Here is a question, can they get a Master level ID even if they are technically a Rookie level player?
And you hinted at "Minor SPPL Events", c'mon, no fair, that's cruel and unusual! Speak up! Details! ....please......
Ok I see what you mean. I will correct the workding to say "one or more" for the Masters since by definition under the Rooker classification rule you can only play one year in that division as a team I should say. Because you can have to Masters on a rookie team. I hope that clears it up. I will make the change and update the post.
I will be releasing detailso on the Minor events shorlty but the idea is to have 20-30 minor events at fields all over the country so everyone has a chance to play an sppl event while getting experience game knowledge before attending the Major Events. These events will be much smaller in most cases, run soley but field owenrs or teams who what to put the event an as a funraiser / or to gain points for their national ranking( to be expalined shortly) I will have guidelines that fields and teams have to follow in order to host and event like our format exactly, id cards must be used but other than that they can chage whatever they want for paint and reg fees. They could even do a BYOP thing if they wany.
