hey all looks like Techt continues to produce new tech for the A-5/X-7 the newest piece of work is a new set of paddles that are squishy, and much Much softer on paint.

http://www.techtpain...shypaddles.html

They look absolutely sick, and I am seriously thinking of picking up a set. Look at the linky above and discuss, good idea? bad idea?? I personally think this will help alot in the way of winter play when the cyclone makes your marker a paint sprayer

pretty interesting find, but I thought they, or someone else, already made soft paddles?

Tippmann's X-7 paddles were slightly softer than the A-5 paddles however I still managed to blend paint with the new paddles, so hopefully this will be the answer!

I have the tech t paddles and they are awsome. I shot paint through it last week and the paint never busted at all. The same paint bust 1 out of 3 last month with the stock paddles. They are worht the money.

they work. We've been testing these for tech-T on the a5 and x7 OG boards for months now and they have proven themselves big time. Most people have the beta version but the production version is now for sale. They are a great upgrade.

Sounds good for those with A5's or X7's, too bad I am not really one for the cyclone feed system at all..

I may have to pick these up. I've had some problems when I throw some Chronic or Anarchy in my Cyclone.

Nothing new, Eggys and Force hoppers have always had squishy paddles. In the pic I saw though the guy was bending it the opposite way, but I'm assuming its made the same way all the way around (same plastic throughout) so I dont think it'll matter. Its about time.

The last update was Jan 22/08 and it says it is the completion of beta testing maybe you are thinking of the softer X7 paddles? Anyway nice upgrade but unfortunately I am now finished with Tippmanns and it was pretty much the irritating cyclone feed that did it for me.

Hopefully this will stop cyclones from blending paint. They also need a weaker plunger spring for players that want the positive feeding of the cyclone but don't need really fast feeding. A weaker spring would decrease the breakage even more. The guys at my field that have cyclones are getting REALLY tired of them.

At that time they were looking for beta testers I believe. Techt themselves made a thread on pbn, but like you said maybe it's a different version. All I remember is "squishy" and the design on the paddles.
