Yesterday it rained a little while we were playing. My buddy had a Proto PMR with the stock barrel. It has about 4 inches of porting. Since it started to rain, he saran wrapped the porting to keep the inside of the barrel from getting wet.

If you do this, be sure to re chrono! He was shooting at 285 fps when he chronoed. After the saran wrap he was shooting over 300. Covering the porting added another 4" to the effective barrel length.

Just a warning.

Good point.

I re-chrono EVERY game. We play about 20 games a day where I am.

I don't know why I do, just part of the habit. It's not like my mag or phantom ever need adjustment...
