air up is fine, so your on/Off pin is a good seal, Is there a leak when you hold down the trigger?
It sounds like there is to much force pushing Back on the front bolt, so not enough air pushing forwards OR your velocity is a little high?
What spring are you usuing? if your usuing the silver or red, switch to the gold and then try.

If not, try increasing the velocity.

After that, Increase your Carrier size by 1. and then try again.

If not call AGD and ask them.

Force pushing backwards..........Force pushing the front bolt forward.

(10) - - - - - - - - - -> < - - - - - - (6)

all you have to do is even it up.

Gotta agree on the spring shange. The carrier would really only be changed to fix a leak down the barrel for the most part, or if the bolt is too tight on the power tube o ring. You are thinking of the shims under the carrier. Too many and you can experience barrel leaks. Too few and you won't get a quick enough pressure bleed during a pinch causing a break.

Change to a lighter spring first, set your velocity to your standard speed, and then use a pencil in the feed port to see how much force is hitting it. Too much? turn down velocity until you feel it's too slow. If after that you still can't get a soft enough hit on the pencil, add shims and restart the velocity back at your preferred speed. Too many shims and you will get a barrel leak. Still no dice? Check to ensure that your carrier is not too tight. Call AGD. I have mine tuned to the point that I get only a soft tap on my finger when shoved into the feed port and fired.

Also, I believe there is a really good tutorial at:
http://www.automags.org/resource/level10/i....shtml#detailed

By the way, of the link to the detailed instructions isn't stickied yet here it should be. We get a lot of Lvl 10 questions here, too.

one of the thing's about being a Maggot is sooner or later you have to learn to tech your markers yourself , because there will be a time when a computor or another Maggot is not around
Most things with Mags are very simple ; it was shooting , I did this now it won't shoot , go back one step start over , lessons you teach yourself you will remember much longer than an answer from someone else
really , i'm not trying to be a smart butt , but learning to tech your stuff is the smart thing to do , most ballers these days don't even know what a Mag looks like , let alone tech one
Good Luck
