What was interesting was how effective, overall, all three camo patterns seemed to be.
We rode on the winds of the rising storm,
We ran to the sounds of the thunder.
We danced among the lightning bolts,
and tore the world asunder.

in some of the pics the only reason you can find the marpat/multi, is the pic of the ACU giveing them away...

Props I've heard good things about Marpat and Multi-Cam but like the pictures, you can spot people in ACU much easier.

They only tried out two types of terrain, and they were fairly similar. I'd like to see the three compared on many more types of terrain than just grassland. I'll be the Multicam will come out on top more times than not.

Well I just got back from Iraq and I beleive that ACU's were made more for an urban environment in low light conditions. They are not made for fighting in the green european country side during the cold war like the woodland BDU's. Have any of you guys seen the new airforce uniform? Its the same color as the ACU's but its in a tiger stripe pattern.

Nice post Ring.

Interesting. The ACU is ineffective camouflage in that environment, which is fairly similar to my usual haunts. I wonder if there are any pictures of the pattern, where it works.

Thanks.

So MARPAT and Multicam for the win them?

Though like Blue Dragon Said, get some different terrain types in there. How about in the woods, dense with lots of leaves, and in an actual paintball field, in one of the morse less-woodsy more traveled areas (like a fort or a village)?

Oh thats awsome!
"A bad day of paintball is one where I never get hit. If I don't look like I got date-raped by an octopus by the end of the day, thats a bad thing."

So you want to know why it's called an A5?

If I could assemble a new regulator for a paintball gun, I could build a liver. How hard could it be?

I'll bet you $10 the above post is telling you to buy an automag.

Well the new tiger stripe is pretty similiar in color for the same environment, I seen when I went on leave people were wearing some boots that are like a blue or grey that match the acus now. The tan ones stick out like a sore thumb on your couch! :(
