imo it is personal preference. yesterday when i play, these guys had 2 fusions. 1 regular. 1 hybrid fusion. the hybrid one looked very nice and i perfered it more than the regular one based on looks. i cannot say how they performed though

Personally not yet, the ones out basically have a new feedneck(stock ones fine), new asa(stock ones good),new grips(doesnt matter), and it has slightly nicer milling. I wouldn't personally go for it.

I think they're only around $400, but in that price range I like the rail. :D

Go to actionvillage, the price diffrence is only $50.

They have the exact same internals, they will perform exactly the same. Just choose the one you like the looks of better.

any scientific data to back that up?

that's what I thought.

There is no diffrence between any of the fusion other than milling and/or color.
