I love you sartek- you rock; this is the most helpful review I've seen yet, and you probably just saved my crew and I about 200 dollars. Thanks chum.

Ok, I just got back form my friends house for a test, these were a major dissapointment. I put the transmiters all over my throat area and my friend thought I was just babbling out random things when I was saying real sentances. And when he did understand me, he said it sounded like his volume was all the way down. After I was dont I let him have a try, still the same thing. I couldnt hear a word he said. When I could understand him, our volume was turend all the way up and I could barly hear him.

Please tell me that I put it in the wrong place, (even though it was every where). I really hope you guys have better luck than I did.

EDIT:Ok, I just tested it with my mom for a duble check, she seemed to hear me ok with less babbling. I think Im not putting them in the right postiton. Can some one give a pic or some thing.

Oh another thing, when she could hear me "ok" after a while in the same position it would sound like i was babbling again. I would have to press down on it to get it fairly clear again.

Honestly, I dont know what to say.. I've had excellent luck with mine all this weekend. You have to postion them fairly high on your throat beside your adam's apple. with a larger neck, they fit tighter and you get better sound transmission. with the dual pickups, the sound transmission is better.

this is true of all throat mics though. i do know that the pickup coils are better than the FireFox mics.

you may need to curl the throat mic together for the band to tighten up some for better pickup.

I bet thats the problem, cause I had to push it down a bit. After that she could hear me better without the babble. I do have a 15 1/2 neck, thats probly the problem <_<

I have 15 1/2 neck as well and I had no problems.

I finally got to test mine out yesterday and it worked fantastic. I could even be heard wispering.

One thing I did notice was that if you used the talk button on the radio my voice would sound muffeled. If I used the PTT button, my voice came through clear as a bell.
