Conversely, two or three of these platforms would be emensely helpful in suppressing a flag base for an assulting force.
Although these carts looks like it could be eliminated rather easily by attacking on mulitple flanks simultaneously. But that's what the squad is there for.

That would be a sucker to move around the field though, and I doubt it would do well on hilly or rocky terrain. It's really nice though, can't hide that fact.
Does that count as a tank, such as tank rules applying torwards it?

Yes, but it really was never built for being completely independent of support.
We've only taken it to one field so far (a field that didn't allow motorized vehicles, see the "quadzilla powered tank" thread for the main use of the quadzilla), and they did not characterize it as a tank. Any of the crew could be eliminated like a standard player, but the cart rig did not constitute a "gun hit" for purposes of the game.
