Back in February, i picked up a case of recsport from my local shop. I didn't really know what to expect since on one hand, it was made by draxxus who makes good, quality paint, but on the other hand, it was 45 dollars at a store that overprices A LOT. So, after about a month of snow and very cold weather, i finally got to go out and play with it. Upon inspection, i found no seams and very few dimples. They flew straight, and consistently broke. After a good day of paintball, i had confidence in this paint.

Unfortunately, due to more cold weather and rain, i wasn't able to get out and play again till last week, and again today. What i found was that it just wouldn't break, and it wasn't flying well. Once may just be a bad day, low CO2, or whatever, but after 2 days with different weather conditions (55 and 80 degrees), the paint was consistently bouncing and just not flying. I am not sure exactly why, but i assum that age has gotten a hold on my paint. If anyone has a better explanation, please let me know.

This paint is cheap and widely available, and is of good quality within the first month or two. I would definitely recomend this paint to budget players, or people who get out and play alot and can regularly go through a whole case in 5-7 weeks.

8/10

I also heard the paint was really bad and was not worth the money but you gave it a 8/10 for your own reasons

It wasn't too bad for me. I never broke any of them, but when they got old, they woulnd't fly as well and wouldn't brake as often. If you go through paint quickly, you should definetly try it out.

Thats pretty high for paint that bad. How you described it it shouldnt be doing that. Walmart selld paint for like 8 bucks a case. Or paintballonline sell practice paint for 20.

I have to agree. I was able to use this paint during a big game in california.

the paint flew straight, and was breakin right off.

after spending an entire crate i only was able to break three inside my barrel.

the weather i remember it has being extremely warm and that did not effect the paint at all.

I had my first experience with this paint at an FPO (field paint only) indoor airball field. I am a paint snob and am very picky about what I use. I asked them if they had an upgrade but they said no they use this stuff because it cleans off the bunkers easily. I opened the case and at first was not impressed, a few dimples, seams and mostly a bit out of round. Performance wise, not bad, it shot kinda straight, a lot of bounces but not one break in the barrel, marker or loader. I use an Angel GAT, CP barrel kit and Empire REloader B.

Not bad for the price - it was 55 dollars for admission, all day air and a case of rec sport. I would not go out and buy this if I could bring my own, but I will happily use at this particular field.

Far from the best, but also far from the worst.

6.5/10

Ill give it a 8 of 10
Ive shot about 3 cases of the stuff so far & havnt had a problem - no breaks in the barrel at all, decent condition balls, no breaks in the bag. Biggest complaint is lots of bounces at 265 fps or less.
Not a high end paint, but perfectly acceptable for rec play.
