So same old same old, no masks no safety. I mean there was like one guy with goggles on (i stress googles not a mask). They all had TPX's i think. the pistols were colored so like they didn't make it look as intimidating as a regular tpx. Which is wierd cause they dubbed the sound to sound more like a real gun. Finally they had a guy, he said he played 3 times a week, and had his own gear. So he pops up, NO MASK OR GOOGLES. that got me a bit bothered, the guy who they say is experienced with nothing. But he did have a tm-15 with a rotor in a glossy red tigerstripe. and it shot fully automatic  Two other things, they had people in the trees who they shot out, and they headshotted someone at near pointblank. This just seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen. Grrr.... im not suprised by this kinda stuff anymore, but it doesnt make me approve of it. in fact it just makes me more angry because even though as a sport were growing, were still not getting anymore respect. If they had one paintballer on set, im sure he wud of slapped the directors upside the head lol.

So, why are you complaining about paintball in a tv show?

Considering baseball players don't complain about the incorrectness of baseball, football players don't complain about incorrect and unsafe depictions of football, etc. I really don't see why paintball players should be any less surprised when paintball isn't represented correctly.

Sure, not the best example of safety in paintball, but the Die Hard & John Woo references were priceless. I thought it was pretty damn funny.

i just watched it, and honestly.. what do you expect from tv stations? you could obviously tell some of the shots did not even come from the pistol. cause if they were to get shot at that range they would be doing more then just going.. uhhhh crap..

sure, safety was non existent, but it was funny.

i for a minute i really wanted to paint my tpx gold..

but then i realized it would be stupid.

It's tv ;)

I have yet to see paintball on tv (besides espn) that is truly legitimate.

Fixed.

Seriously, guys, no show "gets it right" for the sport they use in their story.

This isn't some evil conspiracy against paintball players.

Love Community. Some of the funniest stuff on network TV. It was absolutely a horrible representation of Paintball... but I don't care, it was hilarious. Senor Chang busting thru the doors like the Asian Mafia was great, even if he was in a suit & only sunglasses. I'm w/ Thalion, why do we always feel slighted when "our" sport isn't represented correctly?
