It wouldnt pose much of a visible improvement.

Internals are usually for greater effeciency...

I'm not familiar with that bolt... nothing about it looks impressive to me... essentially it looks like the stock bolt made of some kinda of self-lubing plastic.

I have a Rufus Dawg Wicked bolt for my A-5 and I am very pleased with it's performance. It is also made of self-lubing plastic.

Well you may get a better response after it is released. :D The Action Village and other sites have preorders.

Unless it already was and my guy at Orange failed to notify me B) .

Delrin, which the rufus dawg bolt & power tube are made of, will self-seal if 2 pieces are in contact with each other. The seal between the bolt and power tube is, as if, there was an o-ring there.

Quote

Delrin
or
Polyoxymethylene

It is also used extensively in paintball markers, where it is used to make bolts, pump handles and many other parts. Its low cost, adequate strength, light weight and self lubricating properties make it ideal for markers. Its competition in this area, Nylatron, while slightly lighter is more prone to swelling. A swelled part can make the mechanism impossible to operate and sometimes even damages the marker. Nylon-based products such as Nylatron have better wear-resistance than Delrin, but do not have good moisture-resistance, and therefore not suitable to high-humidity or underwater appplication.

So really the internal o-ring is only needed if you have an aluminium power tube.

Being an engineer I still think the rufus dawg design is superior, and well worth the cost.

Just goes to show the superiority of German engineering! lol

But in all reality, I could see it maybe being a little more efficient, but it won't decrease kick, and you might save a few extra shots because of that second o-ring.

My advice, buy a bag of paint and go target shoot. You'll improve your skill, and have fun, for the same price.
