Ok so my C-Series barrel just came in and i put it onto my A-5. i loaded it up with some paintballs and hooked up the air and everything. i went into my back yard to try it out and when i did every ball had like a wicked curve to it. this barrel is supposed to be the most accurate but its not!! and i never touched the velocity adjuster or anything.....so im wondering, what can i do to fix this!!

thank you

What paint are you using? How long have you had the paint?
Are you using CO2?

my guess would be either bad paint or a burr/bend in the barrel. Were all the balls going in the same direction, or just curving randomly?

Fact: inconsistant curving is a sign of shooting hot (twists left then right.) Since the new barrel is probably a better barrel/bore match you will be shooting hotter than with an oversized bore barrel.

Turn the velocity down.

Agreed- check your velocity first and make sure it's not old paint with bad fill. If that doesn't work, inspect the barrel and clean it thoroughly- could be some residue from the mfg. process in there. Use hot water and swab it well.

BTW, the C-series barrels are nice, but I've found the claims of super-accuracy are a bit off.

The Problem youre experiencing has nothing to do with the Paintballs and the Barrel.

Its your A5 and do you have a Chronograph?

Because without a Chrono, you'll never know what the FPS (Feet Per Second) your A5 is set to, to cause the Balls to curve.

In other words, your A5 is shooting HOT.

Yeah, I agree with Evil, shooting HOT will do that to the best of guns. Try and keep it around 270-290, or whatever your Commander/Field says is required. And the C-Series accuracy is good, but not "Legendary" as many would like to jack it up to be.
