Okay, so i play Dagger and i think im purdy good at it too. but i need help. serios help. ive only play 10 times(not counting air soft and real guns :) )
But im goin against farm kids who grew up on paintball. i just now got on the boat. ive mainly played against slickers(redneck term fer city folk) anyway they are really easy and i barely get out, but how would i defeat farmkids without humiliating myself(acting like a slicker) :(

Get whoever is on your team at the time to be on the same boat as you. One thing I have learned is that being a dagger without a team is though. Just think if you were a front man or snake man in speedball and the back players only worried about shooting at the other team rather than give you cover fire (yes there is a difference between shooting at giving cover fire) and communicate to you. In short its hard being a dagger without a team for support. Good luck man. ;)

Target shoot and make an obsticle corse and run through it, make sure there are targets, make sure to communicate with your team, and do NOT underestimate your enemy, even if they are city slickers, also try flanking manuvers, they have worked for me, and don't count your self out just because you get shot, it has to be the size of a quarter to get you out, don't run at the enemy inless they do not know you are there and you should do good. Oh yeah, almost forgot, you need to tour the feild BEFORE you play on it so you know where to go if you meet trouble.

Stay mobile. If you dont have a regular team (or at least some buddies you can count on) to back up, you're going to have rely on yourself to get out of trouble. Locate the enemy & engage if the odds seem good but back out quickly & look for a flank if there's too much resistance. Dont stay in one place for long - fire & move, fire & move.
If you have a team or buddies, use your position out in front to its best by calling out specific enemy locations. By ready to advance fast when you see a gap in the enemy lines.

What is the terrian you play in like? It's important to read your landscape with a dagger. Be willing to crawl, get down in the briars, as well as sprint. If your playing heavy woods, which is what I started with, walk the field or a similar wood lot as much as possible practicing moving over leaves with as little noise as possible. Use the wind in the trees to cover your advance, ect. ect.

If your playing more of a agricultural field set up, for tall grass crouch and crawl. Look for ripples in the ground, even a small one can hide you. Tractor trails are great to, there was a field back in michigan that had had a heavy tractor move through it at one point. I was able to traverse the entire field just by carefully crawling along the indentation made by the tractor treads. Worked great.

Good luck.

since when are farmers the best players out there?

if you spent half the time working on your skills rather than worrying about them farmers and how good they must be because they grew up on paintball.

experience is not everything. one has to want to improve and has to want to be good in order to get better. i played soccer for 8 years already, but the first four were 'just for fun'. i learned the most on my 5th year. had i wanted to get better way back when i started, i would probably made it a lot further than i am right now.

sorry if this post sounds a little mean, but i'm just sharing some wisdom.
