my automag has been doing pretty good but with the q bow kit when i try to lower my velocity the screw holding the stock together hits and causes alot of problems could this be solved by switching to the gold spring? and if so and i understand correctly i will not be able to reach 280 fps correct?

Could you be a bit more specific? What do you mean by the screw holding the stock together?

The gold spring is what Ive always used. Ive never had problems getting 280 fps out of the gold spring.

It sounds like you need to change your carrier. Try 1 step up. Keep in mind that a Mag wont fire right/at all when you have 1000 psi or less

No reason to put a palmers on a mag. It would be pointless. Mags feed off of high pressure..anything lower than 800psi input and its not going to work

AGREED, the only thing you would want to change to is an adjustable reg for your HPA tank, mags love the air and around 1000psi is what they love the most.....

and what are you talking about your stock gets in the way of... what? the stock should not effect the performance of the marker. the only thing that should is probably messing with the valve.
