hey BB, u do awesome work man.
Here's my question, i'm consider have a design done for my gun, it would be the shark's mouth and eyes nose art like what was on the Flying Tigers planes, only i'm considering getting it done in the ACU colors. i'm trying to decide wether it would look best on my A5 hopper, my x7 hopper, (as i imagine it, it the mouth would start on the front of the hopper and then move back towards the sides and end a few inches back and then an eye on either side of the hopper) or maybe even on the front of the gun itself (like starting around the barrel adapter and running across the a2 foregrip). would this be possible? and if so, how much would it cost? hopefully i made myself understandable, it's kinda hard to describe what i'm imagining. appreciate any feedback you can give me.

That sounds like it would look pretty cool.

I love this idea! Uncle R cyber hive five for someone who loves the WWII nose art. Anyways, if BB does this we need pics. That would be so cool.

I personally think the hooper would look best, BUT, if it was on the gun it would look like the A-10's nose art with the barrel coming out of the sharks mouth. so sweet

It could be done either on the gun or on the hopper and I think they would be about the same difficulty level. On the hopper I would have a hard time making it look right due to it's curvature, whereas on the gun body it would not be such a challenge but on the body I would have to arrange it so decal goes over multiple parts. As for price I'm not 100% on a solid number and need to get some clarification. Did you want the whole gun but the decal painted in ACU and the decal painted in it's shark colors or the decal painted in ACU colors?

Thanks and let me know if you have any other questions.

more i think about it, the more i like on the front of the gun, i use a x7 style hopper and the low profile would mean the design would have to be really small, and i'd like it to be noticable. i'll have to see exactly how the cyclone feeder fits into the grip before i decide what to do on that side. for now i think i only want to do the design (money is too tight to get the hole gun), as for colors, would there be a price difference between using the original colors or using, say woodland digi colors? BTW thanks alot connell for digging up those pictures, i was looking for some myself, but had only found black and white photo's so far.

A while back I did a Photoshop for a member looking to paint a DM tiger stripe and he wanted the A-10 style nose art. Here's what I did for him (I only did the Photoshop, NOT the actual painting, not even sure if he went ahead with it):

I love the "sharks teeth" on aircraft, this was the first I've tried it on a paintball marker and I think it could work. :)

There wouldn't be much of a price difference on the color of paint unless I had to give it customized colors and it doesn't seem like that is the case.

That DM looks great BTW. I wish I had better photoshop skills. For now I just have illustrator skills but I'm getting better at Photoshop. I've been doing all the product photography for S.O.'s website for the past month and I've had to learn some new things because of it. Maybe I'll get that good some day.
