I just got a tac one, and I am going for a sniper setup, I was wondering what barrel out of the two would people vote for. And please, lets not let this post degrade into some giant 'my barrel is better that your barrel' TINKLEing contest. I am just looking for a quiet, accurate barrel (also, total noob question, am I right in assuming that the Tac one takes a cocker thread?)

Yes, the Tac One is Cocker threaded. I'd recommend a Deadlywind kit, or a Palmer's Brass, or a MacDev Matchstick. All very good and high quality, and around $100-120. Lapco Snapshots are also nice, and I've heard lots of good things about the J&J kits.

A dual-vented Palmer's Brass barrel is very quiet, the quietest barrel tested by Mann I believe, and he tested a very large number of barrels.

Provided your barrel is smooth on the inside, and you have a relatively decent paint to barrel match they will all shoot around the same accuracy wise. Generally the more porting the quieter the barrel. Check out Mann's barrel test to see some side by side comparisons.

I personally like both Lapco and Palmer's barrels. Double ported brass while expensive is unique in that it is both quiet and air efficient. Lapco barrels are just straight up quality.

i would say-not the hammerhead. youre paying a little extra for rifling that doesnt work on paintballs.
pps brass seems like a good idea

I really like my Freak kit. I have backs for both my ION and Cocker. Besides being able to match just about any paint size, its great being able to swap tips around. Its also pretty quite and dead on accurate.

Putting a Flatline barrel on a Mag would be much more trouble than it's worth...

None of the above.

I recommend an aluminum Titanium Longbow kit or a PPS Brass.

I've recently bought a tac one and now i'm looking for a barrel kit. All of the ones you guys have listed i've really never heard of (becaues i'm a noob). Price isn't really a problem, but i would like to buy a complete kit that would last me. If someone could just list me a website that sells those barrels you guys listed, It would be appreciated.

Also just for curiosity, what is the Manns barrels test???

The Mann barrel test is just a series of tests performed on a bunch of barrels to determine noise volume they each make, accuracy, and accuracy after a break. It was very thorough and very controlled. I think it's pinned up there in the barrel subforum.

I'd suggest looking into the Powerlyte Scepter/Empire something-or-other barrel kit (same thing IIRC), PPS Brass, MacDev Matchsticks, Lapco kits (can't remember the name), J&J kits, that Deadlywind barrel that takes Freak inserts, Sly kits, and maybe Hammerheads (I don't believe in the rifling, but they have great reviews). Use Froogle or something to find where you can buy them. It's made by Google, so just go to froogle.com and type in what you want - "MacDev Matchstick" for example, or "Lapco Paintball Barrel." You might not find the Palmers barrels on there, so their site is palmer-pursuit.com.
