What finish do you guys think I should get when I order my Super Stocker?

I couldn't make a poll for some reason so here's the list:

-Classic Finish

-Zinc with Nickle Highlights

-Wrinkle Black Powder Coat

-Nickle

--

Anyone else got any other suggestions?
What one would you go for?

Zinc or classic IMO. Zinc will be the cheapest, and would out last the powder coat, but still isn't overall that strong. It will look like a worn old sheridan pretty quickly with decent play time. If you're going to keep it for a good long while, I say classic, but, that's my opinon...

mine is a classic finish, and I asked freedom about ti, and he said is cost a ton to get done. I can't find the PM, but i think it was over $200.

I would worry about zinc wearing off, so if i had the money, i'd go for powdercoat.

I think CB said it was around 400 bucks when he called PPS.

Yeah I'm thinking Black Wrinkle Powdercoat with Nickle Highlights ... at the moment atleast. Can someone get me a pic of that? (Just the powdercoat is fine, but with nickle highlights is a bonus. :P )

I think Black Wrinkle Powdercoat with Nickle Highlights would look sweet.

What do you guys think about a side feed, instead of just a regular SC feed .... I'm really tempted. ;)

Edit: after cocking my PGP with it on it's left side and tilted back, I think I'm gonna get a Super Stocker with a Side feed. :)

So here's what we're looking at:

Super Stocker
Dual Vented Barrel, Ball Slots, Sight Rail, Ghost Ring ... and any other little extra.
Side Feed
Black Wrinkle Powder Coat finish with Nickle Highlights

Questions:

1) Can I even get a Super Stocker with Side Feed ... because I still want to keep the SS's normal feed (where you jam the tube in and leave it in there), but I also want a side feed like you can get with the Pug.

2) I'm still stuck on a .45 Frame ... I'm not sure if I'll really need one. For all owners of SS's, do you guys ever use a stock? The only reason I would buy a 45 Frame is so I could use a stock (like a T or L stock)

Your help would be appreciated. ;)

not sure about side feed, but there is offset feeds...

I'll let you know about the stock when i get mine. Or you can get a UMB, (kinda ugly though) But i love stock sheridian frames...

I'm asuming Palmers can do it for me? Do you have any pics of the offset feed? Just wondering what it looks like.

I LOVE the 45 frame on my SS, and I NEVER use a stock. I still prefer the 45 on it though. On my pug I liked the euro, but the SS I wanted the 45. They can do side feeds both SS style (jam the tube). It's be just like the side tube pug's that can be found here, except with the SS feed.

Classic finish was $450 when I called.
wrinkle black PC is $100
Nickel highlights are $100
*Don't forget about the cheaper "jungle" classic finish, it is only $300.

Pics of my old squall with Wrinkle PC and Nickel highlights:
It looks awesome, but I, personally, wasn't a fan of how the powder coats hold up. It's not like it's extremely delicate...but it's not amazingly tough either.

So let us see ....

Super Stocker - 385
Wrinkle Black Powdercoat, with Nickle Highlights - 200
Dual Vented Barrel - 65
Horizontal Ball Slots - 25
Sight Rail - 25

Currently running for around 700.

Does anyone have any idea how much a Side Tube would cost? I would appreciate it. :D

If I choose to go with the 45 Frame, that will put the price to 870.

Hmm ... seems good so far. :)

--

With the side feed tube, do I tilt the gun right on its side - or just a big on an angle?

--

Thanks for all your input guys, really helpful.

I have a Lapco drop stock on my SS. Not that there was any primary reason...I simply had the drop stock and tossed it on there one day. The fit was perfect for me so I removerd the ASA munt from the stock and the stock is still on there to this day.

My SS has a standard Sheridan trigger frame with the UMB. I have only managed to break one UMB in my life due to a slide turning into a stop and roll that left me feet in the air up against the bunker!
As for looks of the UMB....I do not care, it works great.

Bad picture....but if you look you will see the stock! I need to find where I hid the other pictures I have of the SS!
