I get nut shots all the time and my Fusion X's do a great job protecting my boys.

If you ever think the cod-piece on Fusion X's look a little silly, I and my future children would have to disagree.

I disagree to an extent - I went to a bachelor party and found out their side of the field had crappy cover when shooting across the width of the field (guess they don't expect people to make it across) - I got sacked lightly enough that I recovered in time to take out someone about to bunker me, but obviously it still hurts for a good 10-20 minutes :P

I noted in my first post that I'd never been shot in the nuts yet.

This past weekend, from inside of 5 meters, got shot 4 times in the groin area. I have 3 bruises on my thighs. I knew I was shot in the groin, but my friend pointed out that I'd been shot in the nuts; twice. One of them must have broke on my nuts without me feeling it. The other one must've glanced off the cup and then broke on my thigh.

I doubt a soft pad would've provided the same protection.

That being said, I hate when I need to get down on the ground with a cup on, and think a soft pad with a hard shell that was flat would be ideal.
