crew of three; Driver, Gunner, and Loader

the gunner sits shotgun and operates the turret and gun remotely, and the loader sits behind them and makes sure the air and ammo suppy to the turret is in check.

what u guys think,as far as the design goes...

Unless one of you is really good with wiring electronics, I think you're going to find this plan a little difficult.
Might as well have the loader be the gunner and the guy running shotgun be lookout/LAW guy.

My job is to be an asshole. I excel at the position.

What kind of base vehicle are you going to be using to build the tank?

thanks T

and im good with wiring...plus my high school has a HUGE robotics and tech program that i could pay to help out. thing is i want this to be as small as possible so there wont be anyone in the turret system, the turret will house a loader with about 1000 rds cap. and a scuba tank

@Erndogg im thinking of moddifing one of these vehicals they sell on base...its like those lil cars tht patrol parking lots at night but u know...less girly

scrap the loader position.. no 1 is gonna want to just sit in the tank and load paintballs for a gunner who is only gonna need a reload every few minutes cause hes not rich and cant afford the pallet of paint he wishes he COULD shoot..

give me some time and il have a few pictures of tanks from my local field, give you an idea what they look like so you can take what you like and consider that for your tank

well the guys in are gonna be me and my two lil brother...imma drive and those two will take turns loading and gunning

the loader can also jump out the back tp grab the objective which is what one of my lil brothers LOVES to do....he'll just leave me his gun and run, get the flag and run back.

i would invest the money and put a havok launcher in it.. that way you can go head to head with tanks and take out buildings.

If you are going to try to keep people out of the turret I suggest getting a warp feed. That way you can keep the profile low by not needing room for a loader in the turret.

k so the 8 by 8 is 12000 and i have a guy in my moms unit offering me a free go-cart or dune buggy...i forget which it is

so yeah as soon as i get a pic of it ill post it. also i've made alot of head way in firepower. im going to put a ion in side a modified famas frame and use tht as the PDW of the driver. And im wondering if i can use a tourny gun with a flatline and barrel adapter as the anti personnal weapon

Driver should not have a gun. Driver should only drive for safety reasons.

Keep everything as simple as possible. Mounting paintball guns in a decorative shell is a waste of resources and time. when you need to work on it you do not want to tear down the entire pretty exterior to get into the gun.

Adding a Flatline to the mess is not a good idea either. They are picky and tend to break paint right when you need them the most. Stick with a standard barrel and just drive closer to the peopel. Hell most players run from approaching tanks anyhow so most of the time your firepower is just going to be for looks anyway.

A handy tip...do not make anything hard to get to. As soon as you do you will find yourself needing to work on that part and bitchin' about it the entire time.

FIRST Robotics?

And your plan reminds me of the CROWS system the Army uses.
