I try to have mostly blue and gray or black clothing when i play, to match my guns. But if i cant find anything to match oh well, it doesn't matter to me that much. I like it because it looks professional to me, but i don't make a huge effort to match every little thing (like my socks).

Mix and match looks better. Gray pants and a red or black jersey looks much better than all red, or all blue.

I generally try to match my pants and shirt, but past that, I don't care.

EDIT: When I say match I mean make them go together

I think it usually looks worse when a stereotypical "woodsball/scenario" player is dressed in head to toe of matching camo than it would if a stereotypical "speedball" player was to match some standard color like blue or red.

I'm not a fan of matching colors, we aren't power rangers. But to be fair, it also looks bad if the colors clash. I usually like to mix things up as much as possible - playing in paintball pants with a camo jacket for example.

I think it completely depends on your reasoning for it. If you're sponsored by a company then wearing their gear makes perfect sense, you're spending money on their products and advertising for them and possibly helping them stay in business. If you're doing it because the gear actually feels that good then that's a good reason for doing it. Personally I'd like to get a matching set of Empire or Dye jersey and pants. I think they have good designs and good quality. I just can't get over the big butt logos that companies put all over their jerseys. Buying their products with the giant logo on them is stupid. You're paying for their product and essentially paying them to advertise their product. So I stick with my Reebok moisture wicking shirt (with no logo by the way) and my JT pants that I got on a deal. And if you're just doing it to look Agg............ :) :dodgy: :dodgy: :P

don't mix plaid and BIG polka dots, wait, no one will want to look at you if you do, hence you'll be invisable.

So Keith which on look the most newb and which look more professional ?

they all look fine, except for the first one.
He won't be able to get a good jump off the break in that position... and since he's on the edge of the starting gate, he should probably move fairly fast.... which he can't do very efficiently without bending his knees more. (among other things).

the second picture... to simply reload while running is pretty difficult. So i'd imagine he's pretty good. he's also very dirty, which is usually a good sign.

third... since he's not wearing a jersey, i look for other things.... like the MWAG stickers on his mask, and the pbrack sticker on his hopper. Not many people do this... so it means he's been around the block.

4th... cxbl players are usually pretty good. He's also shooting over the aztec, which nobody does, unless they're confident of their playing skills, because most playters are specifically told NOT to look over bunkers.

5th... can't tell.

and yes i was actually so bored i went and found pics of almost every outfit ive ever worn (minus the pink camo pants and woodland jacket, and the time i played speedball with a blue coat over my aggwear cause it was cold, and the time i played in a red dress, and the time i wore bunker gear (fire) to play...)

Its a perfectly fine way of expressing your love for a color. I don't really think it looks stupid at all. I mean, do you count camo as being the same color, or is this a single color thing? Cause I'm fine with looking like a walking tomato

I guess this is as matchy as I get.

Posted Image

Gun matches under armor, than I have camo pants, and a green mask

and does this count as clashing?

Well, it depends. One guy at our fields dresses up in all red and it looks really awesome. Half the people go dressed up in camo jackets and the like but I tend to see them in the deadbox....Me and my friends prefer the bright blue sweaters with jeans, and whatever gun we have working at the time
It's only a game, you don't need to be afaid of anyone, except for ONE person. Its not the teenager with a marker worth more than your car. Its not the SPPL player with about 35 BPS firing rate. Its the 40 year old guy lying in a corner, taking a nap before the game begins. His camo will probably be old, and he will most likely be toting a pump. He's been playing since before you were born, and if he mentions how much he didn't like when he had to play with oil based paintballs, make SURE he is on your team. This guy is a ghost.-Match99
