Does the cyclone feed work well with the E-Grip?

Up to around 15bps if it isn't upgraded I think. However, you could buy a High End loader for the same cost as a Cyclone if you buy the upgrades for it and an Electric loader will work on at least 90% of the markers on the market.

Electric loader... Which is better? I've read that to install the Cyclone Feeder on the Tippmann 98c you have to do a bit of custom work on the marker.

Edit: Nevermind, I just read what Nom wrote on 'em. xD

Another Edit: What about the Air-thru stocks? Does anyone recommend them? I have that cord that lets you wear your tank on your back (a remote controller I think it's called?). Any thoughts on those?

It's just called a Remote, not controller. :D Controller. Sorry, had to get that out of my system. Anyways, remote lines can be pretty good, but there a few different ones. You have your standard coiled remote with On/Off, the Quick disconnect with an On/Off valve, and then you have your remotes with a slide check. I would steer clear of remotes with slide checks, they tend to leak and the little O-Rings in the slide check are an oddball size I think. Oh, and they've also got the same remote line setups, but with a braided steel line instead of a coiled line.

An On/Off just means that you can turn the air flow off at the valve which screws on your tank. The remote is still pressurized until you fire off the remaining air.

A Quick Disconnect allows you to unhook the air line from the marker(assuming you turned off the valve first), but the remote and marker will still be pressurized until you shoot off the excess gas or disconnect the remote.

A slide check allows you to release the pressure in the remote and degas the marker without disconnecting the remote or firing the marker.

I sure hope I'm right on all of that. I've only owned a standard On/Off quick disconnect coiled remote (bought a cheap one off Ebay that was supposed to be made by Spyder, but wasn't), it blew out on me after a couple months so I never bought another or studied up on them more.

do you mind If I jack your thread for one question?
this relates to usuing the Cyclone.

Can you fit a BT rip clip on a custom 98/ model 98, marker?

And I beleive that the RT or the E-grip is really the only way to reach the Cyclones speeds. remember that usuing only your fingers you could hit 7-9 BPS is you really went at it.
but with the RT and the E-grip you can burst it in higher BPS ranges should you wish.

I'm fairly sure BT made a Rip Clip specifically for the 98 due to its success. Let me do a quick search.

Yep, they did.
