Here's my setup of choice:
  • Tippmann A-5 *Polished Internals*
  • Dogleg Air Thru Stock w/Horizontal Forgrip
  • 12" C-Series Barrel w/Apex Tip on Apex Adapter
  • Response Trigger
  • Special Ops Flattop Rail
  • NcSTAR Tactical 4 Reticle Red Dot Holo Sight
  • X7 Hopper w/modified Quick Release
  • Tippmann Cyclone Complete Upgrade Kit:
  • - Cyclone Feed Metal Upgrade Set
  • - Cyclone Feed Piston Rod
  • - Cyclone Feed Quick Exhaust Piston Housing
  • - Cyclone Feed Soft Paddles
I run a remote line to a Special Ops MOLLE Pod Pack that holds my 20oz. tank and (2x) 2+1 Pod Pouches.

Good looking marker. But I recremend getting a double trigger, The seem to be more comfortable and easier to shoot at a quicker rof. other than that its a good 8/10 with double trigger 9/10. Good job :P

To tell you the truth, I can't stand double triggers. The reason being that I was raised in a family that handles firearms all the time, and I always squeeze the trigger when I shoot. I find that when I shoot a double trigger, my middle finger tries to fit behind the double trigger, or my fingers get messed and I get out of sinc. SO I just stick to the Single Trigger and it works fine for me.

I'd go HPA, but I don't have any place near me to get it filled. This is because I play mostly outlaw and the closest place to fill a HPA tank is 45 min in a direction I rarely go. I have to drive 25 min to get my C02 filled as it is, but I go right by them on my way to work.

You can get them filled at Sport Chalet or any Scuba store. Unless you live in the boonies, then that's a different story. I feel for you.

Well I live out in New Prague, MN. No scuba shops around me that I'm aware of. If I played at fields more, then it might be worth it because air is included in your field fee, but I play 90% outlaw and C02's the way to go for that. Plus the R/T works better with C02, so I'm still a happy guy!

Nice. HPA FTW, though I know it's a hassle for you.

Thanks everyone for your input so far!!

Does anyone know what I need if I were to swap out that braided line for the line that comes with the newer Dogleg Stocks? The box mine came in shows the newer line, but they must have still been trying to get rid of inventory when I bought mine a while back because it came with the braided line. Here's a picture of the newer line:

I'm thinking of getting the black line so that it get's rid of the shiny braided line. Any help is appreciated.
