yes, any splat the size of a nickel (or quarter in some areas) is an elimination.
I haven't been to a field where friendly fire doesn't count.

Here's a question for you - Why is it called friendly fire when it isn't friendly at all

In my field unfriendly fire is taken as an elimination

It should count as an elimination. Teammates should be careful not to fire upon eachother.

It's a euphemism.

This is the advantage of unoffical fields you can make your own rules but be careful who you play with. We never count friendly fire on our fields.

Especially by Woodsball and Scenario terms, yes. If you were out hunting or in a real firefight and your buddy shot you...I don't think you'd say. "Ow...Don't do that again man..." ;\ They count.

Me and some other experianced players where playing with a church group at our local field. There was this one kid who thought my gun shot faster just because it was bigger than the others(I have a stock and a flatline on it). Well anyway this kid shots his own team every game for the exception of one when he gets shot before he has the chance. My team was on the treeline shooting into the speedball course where this kid and his team are, he is in the center of the speed course. All of a sudden he turns around and starts blasting away at his own team behind him, the complete opposite direction of us the real enemy. I took shots in the back form him on three seperate ocassions when he was on my team causing me to be out of the game, i got mad. Anyway i just thought i would tell you all about a friendly fire inccident, tell me what you think.lol.

Because it was fired from a friendly unit and unless it was on purpose it's still a friendly unit.

Yes Friendly Fire DOES count. It sucks getting hit by your own team, but oh well, another out, another game.
