Upgrade the A-5 all the way as far as the internals goes, polish it and get,
JCS Red hot Power tube
Some sort of QEV (quick exhaust valve)
T-tech-Vortex, Cyclone feed upgrade
T-tech-Lightning rod, manual feed push rod upgrade
An after market velocity adjuster (you will need this after all the internals upgrades)
E-grip of your choice (WAS, APE)
Barrels... you need to figure that one out for yourself, I use a Freak, Flat line, Special ops G-36, Tippman 18 in, stock.
Hopper... Your choice.
Do this and you will have one bad butt Heavy gunner A-5.

TechT Lightening Rod
These three mods will increase the performance of your A-5's stock cyclone feed. They enable faster shooting, slightly better efficiency, and they work great overall with the E-Grip.
Here's my A-5's parts list. I think the whole setup is just about perfect.
A-5A2 Air Through Kit
E-Grip w/ WAS Board
TechT Lightening Rod
TechT QEPH (Black)
C-Series 16" w/ Devastator tip
TPG M2000 30mm Red Dot
With your choice of hopper, the 450 Rd, I'd go with a Lapco Offset Mount, so you can add a Dot Sight if you so choose. The Offset Mount enables you to see clearly without the hopper obstructing view.
Also, a good choice, firing rate-wise, go for the APE Rampage Board w/ the Power Shot Solenoid. Be sure to get an APE Trigger (The Milsim Single Trigger is a good choice) to get the full effect out of the Rampage Board.
