There is a guy that has one that plays with us and I don't really care for it its way to dark and shiny the only plus I can see is that balls tend not to break on it. winter ball way way too dark spring it would work pretty good summer not enough green at all fall it will get better as season progresses. the purpose of a ghille is of course camoflauge but mainly breaking up the human figure so I suggest to make your own out of bdu's and burlap it costs about 100 to 150. you can take out burlap and replace it with a different color as season's change and you add natural weeds and grasses to make yourself blend in. I got one that I built myself and have had people walk 3 ft from me and even one stepped on my leg but I bit the bullet on that one (once he realized it was a person he freaked out and shot my dumper) plus have you ever seen a actual sniper wear one of those action suits (nope because snipers are not suppose to move around that much)

You're right, military snipers don't where this type of suit ( yet, I think that will change shortly ) and no they don'tn move around much. Why? Because they can shoot accurately at ranges in excess of 300 yards. For paintball since you're not going to get a good shot past 50 ft, you've got to move around more, build up more body heat, and in general be more active. For that $150 you're suggesting I can get an Action Guille kit that I can make myself that will be lighter and cooler than any type of traditional burlap suit.

Okay you are right, but now if I walk past you close enough I am going to see you plain as day but you can walk around pretty easy in a normal burlap suit and the most you would do is rip a stich in cases of the action suit it plastic so no fixing there. I can make shots very very accurate at 40 yds were it is dead on then for further shots I just move up to the face mask. For the cooling part before you build you ghille suit cut the back out in a square and sew in cloth screen for venting the sew on the netting. I am just saying that the army ghille is the best out there. Not shinny, burlap surrounds the weeds you put in it, and you can easily change out colors for the seasons changing. GO WITH THE ARMY STYLE GHILLE!!

I will say this once again and for the last time " I said that last time" The "Burlap" ghillie suit isn't what hides you! You have to attach plants and twigs. Burlap is not suppose to be visible OR the burlap is used to look like the ground and leaves are tied into the top of the ghillie. The action ghillie can in no way compare to the real thing, with grass and all.

The Action Ghillie suit loked good to me and my friends, but whatabout noise? Camo netting which im pretty sure is the same material makes ALOT of noise if you wear it. Can this stuff be as quiet as the traditional burlap suit?

I have actually used a ghillie in real life. I am in the millitary and in a real life situation the Normal Ghillie work extremly well but you cant move very fast. Trust me i know. But for paintballing the Action Ghillie is perfect. You can move fast stop and become invisible.

What do you mean you can't move fast in them, the only thing that will stop you is thick twigs. I have been a sniper for the U.S. Army for 5 years now and have plenty of expierence wearing them. And for the reply that you have to have sticks and leaves in it, BOINK THAT. I know for a fact that I could hide in the grass and get you from where I am or even have you walk 10 yds away and you aint going to just spot me. natural leaves ect is the best way to go but you not going to walk past me and say hey look theres some burlap.. They key to any camo mostly ghillies is shade never go thru the sun light if you can.

Hey for pics check out my brigade profile. It's actually a blown up picture of me and nate using our action ghillies. I am actually running my own version I call a "Hybrid" where I basically just took our ultralites and broke up my outline with the action ghillie and left the rest open. It's even lighter and still works pretty dang well. I also did not use the action ghillie hood, I just took a density upgrade kit and ziptied it to a JT flex 7 Mask.

I am kneeling and Nate is standing. This was not a posed shot, it was actually in real gameplay up at our field.

P.S. click on the pics in my profile and scroll to the very last one... oh yeah and I forgot my gloves haha!
