2 feet right before he got paranoid and turned around. I called "Surrender or die!" per our field rules and he gave up. Scared the daylights out of him, I did.

Would putting a hand on someone's shoulder from behind qualify as "zero feet"?

ive been stepped on a few times.....all these times i couldnt have shot them, due to the fact that i was surrounded and didnt feel like being "lit up".

one person asked "what team are you on?" i replied " if youre the other team, ill surrender."

yea....its a surrender, but it worked out to my favor because:

1) my ghillie wasnt covered in paint, ruining the camouflage ability

2) i didnt get "lit up" by 10+ people.
Sometimes the best strategies are made while being shot at.

the only people that will tell the truth are drunks and children

with all the arguing about paintball snipers, it makes me wonder why i even bother to shoot them.

Is a sniper in hand worth two in the bush? For those who know this proverb, i think its arguable. lol.

Umm, you should have shot him.

One time i could have touched the enemy.

I would've shot him normally, but in zombie the zombies don't die they just restart and if I had shot him i would've got out sooner. The object is to see how long the humans can survive.

About 2 feet. I was in a well consealed position. I let him go cause some people were after me searching in large groups when I grabed their flag (that seemed to upset the other team). There was anothe time when there were 2 people about 3 yards away from me. I shot the closest one in the arm and then shot their wingman who was aout another 3 or 4 yards away. It scared the crap out of them!

There have been a few times where I could have easily smacked the person up side the head without them realizing it. I seem to be famous at making people surrender, which is one of the reasons I got the nick name Timon.

I'm rather short, so I'm hard to see, and I can run fast as hell. Where we play there is usually small brush, and I can easily duck and move around in it, then I just pop up a few feet from where they think I am an take a few shots.

The best time I can think of is when I was playing a game, and we originally had a 4v4, but all of my teammates had got out, leaving just me. I managed to get 3 of them to surrender, and finally the last player, which happened to be the most experienced got me out by shooting me in my thigh.

The first surrender was against the newb, which was obvious considering he went paintballing in a bright white shirt. I was off to the side of the trail in some bushes/trees when I heard him coming down the trail, another factor that hinted he was a newb. He did not make any attempt to muffle his walking. I followed him a few yards, being as quiet as I could be. One time he had looked directly at me, and I thought I was dead, but then he turned, looked around some more, and continued on his merry way. Eventually there was a fork in the trail, and he took the right, while I was on the left. I walked right up behind him and said, "Surrender." At first he looked extremely confused at how the hell I had got there consdiering he had look behind himself just moments ago. Then he just said, "Damn it, I didn't even hear you."

The second surrender was only a few yards away. I was hiding behind a tree right after making the first person surrender when I heard another guy coming my way. I was in a small circle of trees, about three total were around me, with a few small plants in the middle. I waited for him to get a little bit closer and was about ready to shoot when he walked right infront of me. As he was walking he almost tripped over a rock, which is when I made my move and bolted up right behind him and told ihm to surrender, and reluctantly he did.

The third surrender was a little while later, and on the other side of the playing field. I heard the last two players over near our spectators, they were discussing a few tactics. I decided to flank them completely. I ran all the way around, through the dirt bike jumps, bushes, and trees to where the people who had got had were all stationed. As I walked passed I motioned for them to be silent, but they didn't do a great job of that, but obviously the opposition wasn't paying any attention to them or else I would have been dead meat. I slowly stealthed my way passed them and towards the two people that were still left in the way. They were a little ways apart, probably about 10 yards or so. I got about 5 feet from one of them before I told him to surrender. I whispered it at first, hoping the other would not hear me, but the guy didn't seem to notice. At that point I decided to just force him to surrender and duke it out with the last guy, so I yelled "Surrender!" Luckily for me he did.

As for the last guy, I'm still doubting it was me that gave myself away to the last guy, I think it was the spectators yelling. Once the last perosn noticed I was right there I hit the ground, flat as a brick, and started to fire. I was pretty much pinned at that point and attempted to roll away, but didn't make it very due to rocks around me. I jumped up and tried to rush him, but was unsuccessful since he had the advantage over me.

Overall it was a very interesting round, and a few people were disappointed that I didn't ace it , as was I. That's how the game goes; you can't win them all.

i know i'm not a sniper, but i'll tell my story anyway.

i myself was once playing in a very rural place, and there is a nice ,village you could call it, in the middle of there field and i was in there. And i turn into a building to get s i nice area where i can get good supression on attacking enemy and find an enemy bunkered down in the house watching the oposite direction (twords his own team... :o :o :o ) he turned around and i shot him, it was only a quick 2-3 burst, i was carful not to hurt him cause i know i could have cuased sum damage, but yeah that was a really close encounter :o

I once stepped on a sniper during a game. Scared the daylights out of me when a bush screamed. He was on my own team so we just laughed about it for a minute and parted.

I barrel tagged one guy in the knee. Barrel tagged another while standing about four inches behind him. Tagged another right after I had a lovely five minute chat with him. ^_^

Probably my favortie was when I got a surrender with just my pistol. I ran into a building to clear it. I looked around and saw the building was clear but I saw through a window a guy looking away from me. I walked slowly up to him until I was about three or less feet from him and yelled at him to surrender. He slowly looked at me, threw his hands up in the air and said, "I'm out man! I'll take a hit!" and walked off. I later learned that he was using an Angel. ^^ So that was the day I beat an Angel with an ACP. I also won the Sportsmanship award and for that, recieved a Type-68. Was a good day for me. ^^
