No, there is no "Sniper" barrel. Most important thing is barrel to bore match. Look down a few threads to get that info.

Long barrels, don't make you shoot farther or more accurate. 12-14 is what you want, anything longer is just a waste. A longer barrel may make it a LITTLE, emphasis on little, quieter but that's about it.

You gas up the marker, put on the gloves, strap on the mask, and walk onto the field.. it doesn't matter that you failed a test, that your girlfriend broke up with you last night, or that you got a ticket on the way there...your world is right for the next couple hours, this is your heaven on earth... live it... love it..

How the hell could you stop me? Why in the world would you try? I go hard forever that's just how I'm designed, that's just how I was built.

Not a problem, there is nothing to be sorry about. "Sniper" is used to lure in inexperienced players.

Ruckus, you need to chill some son.

The reason why Marker Manufacturers such as Tippmann name their barrels, is to get the Newbies to believe that the Barrel is an actual Sniper Type Paintball Barrel....in other words, its a Sales Pitch and ya know what....it works!

You must have missed my point of the argument, because you just stated what I did. I blame the barrel makers because they USE sales pitches like that. "Wowzorz! Look at this new Tippman Sniper barrel!" then the gullible little newbies buy it and run out there with a 10" 'Sniper barrel' and think that they can shoot father than everyone else...

I blame the manufactures, but there should really be a way you can get the word across to newbies before they fall for it...

No joke, I saw this rifle on the history channel with a 10 foot barrel. It takes more than one person to transport it.

Nope, it was like a 18th century rifle. They used it inside of castles.

Why blame them, all theyre doing is making a Profit from the Newbies and you would do the same, if you were to come out wit a Barrel that is used in the Rec/Woods Category.
