I just bought a used olive drab PM5 from a buddy and I'm starting to get worried so I have a few questions:

1. The spot spot on the marker where the hyper 2 reg screws into the body is loose and I don't know how to tighten it.

2. The piece of the hyper 2 reg that has the macro attached I think is loose because I can spin it around a full 360 is that right?

3.I have never dealt with macro elbows before because I'm coming off owning a Tippmann so I'm worried that the macros are loose. The macros spin entirely around and I'm not sure if thats normal and also theres a small metal ring thats part of the elbows that seems to be loose?

4. And lastly I am having trouble finding info about the marker so if anyone could find me any manuals for the marker or the board etc.. that would be great.

1.) The whole regulator itself should tighten by hand into the marker.
2.) The bottom of the Hyper 2 should spin all the way around.
3.) Sounds like swivel elbows. The little rings should pull/come out a little tighten on the macroline once there is air in the marker. They work sorta like a chinese finger trap? Push the macro ALL THE WAY in and try pulling it out. It shouldn't come out.
4.) Here's the manual.

thanks ty! but sorry a few things I need a better clarification on.

Is it normal for the macro 90 degree elbows to be full rotational?

and the part I'm talking about thats loose isn't the actual hyper 2 itself its the part right above it that the hyper 2 screws into.

All of that sounds normal, and Ty provided you the manual, so you have nothing to worry about.

I don't know about the part above it, but my guess is it shouldn't be doing that. You do not have to worry about the elbows, that is supposed to happen.

I don't own a PM5 but I might guess that you have to tighten the screw in the trigger frame? Is it the body and grip frame that are loose or a piece on the hyper 2?

Remove the grip frame and there should be a screw on the side of the hyper 2 that you can tighten. If you look closely you can see it at 2:20 in this video.
Skip right to 2:20. At 2:20 and around 2:26 you can see the screw easier.
Here.

the piece im talking about is actually the only part he didnt take off at 2:20 in the video but it looks different on that marker. I think I know how to get the screw to tighten it though so don't worry.

According to the manual i need to take out the LPR in the front to access the screw.

I'll get on with that but anyway thanks for all the help and the quick response.

Fixed it without having to mess with much just had to take the hyper2 out and tighten something.

The macros are fine and yeah you were right ty they do lock up like you said.

Yes, it is normal for a swivel fitting to spin the whole way around.

and the part I'm talking about thats loose isn't the actual hyper 2 itself its the part right above it that the hyper 2 screws into.
So your saying the Vertical ASA on the PM5? There should be a screw inside there that you tighten down.

And for your original questions.

1: See above.

2: It can spin the entire way around. Nothing to worry about, that is normal.

3: See above.

4: There is a Proto forum that I use to be a part of. They have some very helpful articles. The link is found here. That link is to the PM5 Troubleshoot/ technical section. That is where I learned all of my information about PM5.

If you have any more questions, just ask, I am very fluent with those markers.

I was wondering the same thing. I was thinking, "Man, Flo knows all about the PM5, where is he?!" Instead I had to figure things out and waste brain power...
