I like to hit up the Dolly Sods in West V. or do something on the AT in PA. I usually stay local, but this past summer I did the northern rim of the PA Grand Canyon.

I'm going to start backpacking this summer. Me and my friends are thinking about going to a trail in southern tenn. and its 72 miles long.
current WWII reenactment funds $260/ total gear NONE

I always wanted too. I actually have all the necassary gear. I just dont know anyone who is into it and i dont think going solo would be to fun.

I went on a few trips, it always ended catastrophically. Long stories, so don't ask. I'm not going to type them.

They involve a machete, blood and a picnic table. I'm sure you can come up with something interesting.
