SpecOps needs more AKA love. So I thought Id share the pics of my progress.

This is how it all began. The raw donor body was one of two super-Halfmill's that AKA did in 2004. (The milling lines are deeper than normal.) I bought it brand new from Jared at DC. He cut both of the super-halfmill's differently so each is truly a unique piece.

Quad detents, Tadao, CP on/off and rail, Sidewinder, FBM feedneck, and a JMJ Nervous trigger were added for flavor.....

And then it was off to FBM for dose of purple ano.

Eventually the Robtown valve was released and I was getting bored. So I decided to add a few new parts and put her back under Jared's knife.

Tarantula vert frame

Bullet nose cap for LPR

Also added an Orbium barrel kit and 2-Liter reg and CP mini on/off.....

Jared goes to town:

Halfmill lines milled into butt crack.

Frame work: Dovetail for direct mount ASA, frame diet, trigger guard slotted and snatch grip removed.

I had Kruger from AO make these 90* panels from Afzelia Burl to accent the ano.

And the coupe de grace: Gloss bronze/black acid wash ano by Gruntbull.

So now its just a matter of a couple weeks (hopefully ) until the final assembly/tuning is done. Have no doubt, Ill add more pics.

Looks very nice not my style though. Dont get me wrong its bad butt just to flashy for play I would hang it on a wall somewhere like a piece of art.
I give it a 4/5 because its not finished, but sure it will be awsome once its done. Good job

Psssh, Im not even going to start adding it up. Probably send my blood pressure through the roof!

Ive gotten a lot of mixed responses regarding the parts selection (mainly the frame) but I have to say it is EXACTLY as I want it. Believe me, no stone went unturned during redevelopment. And as far as the anno goes, I have plenty of other Mags anc 'Cockers with subtle and subdued colors. This is my bling-thing!

This was pretty much a challange to see just how much $$ could be wasted on one marker. It was originally going to be a wall hanger but I believe EVERY marker should be used, no matter how attractive. You know, kind of like my women....

So yeah, Jared should have everything wrapped up next week and its back home!

it shouldn't be legal for one person to own so many sick markers, that looks amazing you have my envy sir.

I really want to try and get ahold of an unmilled viking so I can trick it out kinda like you have, so I've got a question, is the milling the only way possible? or just the only way I've seen it done on a viking. I have an idea of how I would like to get mine milled (assuming I can get enough to pick one up) but don't know if its limited to just what I've seen.

can't say I like the orange color, but thats just because I'm not a fan of orange, otherwise its sweet!

I nominate Warwitch for one of the Best Marker Owners ever. Seriously, every marker you've ever posted has made me literally lust over them. You're up there with Damage Inc, Telman2 and some of the Nasty Horders on MCB in sheer, refined, marker-owning awesome.

I've always been a fan of unmilled vikings but this one looks particularly nice. I personally like the old stock trigger frame, but that anno is amazing.

QC Mad: its tough to take family pics because I usually only have a couple markers at the house at one time. The rest are at various custom shops getting work and I pretty much just rotate them out.

There are quite a few options as far as milling goes at DC. Jared is pretty damn good at what he does. So if you are willing to wait (and I stress this!) you can always work with him on something unique. Their web is down but you can still contact him via email if you have any questions.

Damn MP, thanks. I know youve seen your share of hot markers so thats pretty flattering!

And again, as far as price goes, I could probably have bought an Asian child on the black market for less.

I love it. A++. AKA markers are beautiful. And i cannot stress enough how great Jared at DC is with AKA markers. I want to get a viking to go with my excal. I can mill a viking a heck of a lot more than my excal. Darn the second ram, but ah smooth closed bolt goodness.
