Well guys... I feel pretty dumb. I spent $600 on a good mantle piece. Will ya'll forgive me?

This thing is kind of big, for most, unwieldy. Beside's that, it's a pain to install. You have to make everything airtight with teflon tape and that can be tough. The barrel is too wide to use scepter grenades. I had a hard time finding something light/heavy enough and big enough to launch from it. Also, they no longer make the flatline barrel mounts for it.

When I finally had it installed, I wrapped up a pill bottle filled with water, using electrical tape. I lubed up the barrel a little, slid the bottle in, and it launched about 30 yards, about half of what it should.

It's not what they have it cracked up to be.

You guys should thank me for taking one ( up the DUMPER ) for the team!
Don't buy it. When is scepter coming back with the flatline mounts?
For now, I'm going to set this thing up somewhere so it looks nice, and order some interlock F-bomb pouches
for my scepter combat vest, so I can just carry some good, reliable, throwable grenades. Atleast I can keep my flatty for now. I should have bought a pair of TAC-8's instead!

If I'm not mistaken...this is a Tippmann product. Was made for use by the military/law enforcement as a training device. I took one look at it and said; Nope.

Perhaps sell it on ebay for uber bucks.

Well, see, This thing would be perfect if it was scaled down a little bit, and it had a higher pressure regulator.
I don't know how the military could use something that only launches 30 yards. Maybe I have to adjust the regulator.

I am going to try a thing or two and if I can't get it to be any better the hell with it.

I adjusted the regulator and modified the width of the barrel. I took a 1.5 in pvc pipe, and sawed down the inside of it, so i would squeeze tight and I could just slide it snugly into the barrel.

Wingo, It works and I can put scepter grenades in it. Now I just have to find a way to stick it on there with my flatty and we're good to rock and roll. Still can't do nothing about the size though. it also fires them off at a good 60-70 yards now.

Only if the made a slightly smaller one

Can you post pics? I have not heard of these launchers. I have a Scepter anyway.
