they have been trying to be in scenario for a few years now. Sponsored a bunch of scenario teams over the last few years. They offered my x team a chance to try out some of the mil sim angels, but we declined. None of us cared for Milsim. *shrug* Guess it was good that we turned them down back then....doesn't look like anything original came from it.

The camo is ok....doesn't look like good camo, but i like the uniqueness factor like Puz said. Though i do agree with Eth, they could have just taken Angel Airtime pants (most comfy pants out there and breathe the best) and just added camo panels. These kind of let me down.

You can't really judge a company by what they first come out with. Look at bt, at first they came out with basically tippmann clones, then here comes the tm7, which is a huge step in the right direction. I think we just need to wait, and see what they release in the future.

Now and then I announce "I know you're listening to empty rooms". If I'm wrong then no one knows, and if I'm right, Maybe I just freaked the hell out of some secret organization.

Nice to se a new addition to Scenario. This will open up a new idea for other companies, I'd wear the jersey if it were not s shiny looking, or if i saw practicality. It honestly looks like it wouldn't handle more than a pair of basketball shorts would, looks like that material. As for the marker, "tactical add ons" are redundant, only add on i actually use, is a bicycle mirror attached to my gun to see around corners when i don't feel like peeking out would work. When i replace my recently damaged one, i'll take a pic and show it, it's so goofy looking, but it works.

Im always pleased to see companies branch out to other areas of the market, especially towards woodsball. Paintball started in the woods, and too much of the industry seems to have forgotten that, so its good see more being done in that direction.

However - Angels stuff is hideously ugly. :(
Nice try, hope the next line is better. Or at least less bad...

They came out with tippmann clones at first cause that's all Ben Tippmann knew how to build. :( They didn't do the TM7 til they signed with Empire and moved under their label, then they could use the mini technology, which greatly trumps the tippmann crap, errr technology, on their own designs. So are you saying Angel needs to sign with someone else to make a better marker? I just think they need to rethink thier outlook on this. Adding two rails and a stock does not make it milsim...i am sorry...just ugly

Disclaimer: The following is a work of satire mixed with observations. It is to be considered a commentary on many of the fools out there in paintball.

Why not? It's worked for all these other companies out there trying "milsim" products.

As ridiculous as it looks to us, there's been a lot of people out there who buy into that - all Angel needs to do is slap "tactical" on the front of the name and it's as good as sold.

"Oh, it's tactical, so it must be good!" they say.

:(

It is too bad though, but for whatever strange reason, it sells. Why else do we have all these instant-bolt-on parts with rails on them for Tippmanns? Seems stupid to people with a little sense, but in the end, the idiots with cash buy it all up anyway.

Are there as many stupid people who will drop the cash needed for an Angel? Nowhere near as many, but I suspect there'll still be enough.

The stock is a big fail IMO. Like the old MR1 stock. Small kiddies can't use a long stock. Today's people want collapsible styles like today's special forces.

I see your point, it was fairly late, and I did not word that well. What I was trying to say is when a company tries something new, we don't need to immidieately jump down their throats. Occasionally, a company will improve their products, and I think we need to just wait and see.

I just am starting to see a trend where every company that tries to get into scenario is "evil". The economy's bad, give these companies a break. They are just trying something new.

No, the companies that do it either dont know what theyre doing or arent actually listening to scenario players. Believe it or not but SO made the woodsball mentality more practical than it was before and it has seemed to have stayed that way with more affordable electros. Companies show interest in woodsball, thats great. Theyve ignored us for years and now realize this is where the biggest market it. If theyre going to enter though they have to realize we're not as dumb as the rednecks playing in their backyards and we wont buy stuff because it looks legit or a company has a name behind it. We want practicality. Good for them for stepping up, but from a company thats been in the game for so long they shouldnt be so ignorant.

Is the stock attached between the body and the frame? It looks like it's attached to a rail between the body and frame of the marker. That doesn't seem particularly sturdy.

I'll be interested to see the shemagh, despite the p.j. fail.

I don't think that it is ignorant. It is the their first few products in a line, and they could get a whole lot better. I'm going to reserve judgment til I see some more products.

So its ok to not do some R&D or simply observe the market? I dont buy that...
