What's the point of squishy paddles anyways?

Well at the time we were in a bit of a hurry my other mask had broken and there was a game that day so obviously I didn't have time to order it online.

seeing as how you plan to play a heavy gunner posistion your going to be firing a lot more , increasing the chance of chop and one chop in a cyclone can gunk up your cyclole and ruin accurace

Here's your shopping list, in order of importance:

1. Pods.
2. Something to hold pods.

That is all.

Although, you did mention you have a 24oz CO2 tank. Puz is on the right track: It might be a smart idea to get a remote line, and if you're going to run with pods and a remote line, you might as well get a vest.

if you plan on shooting a lot, i recommend the whole TechT setup-squishy paddles, inside metal parts, etc. Then I would say an HPA tank, then just go out and play with any money you have left. It's pointless to go buy a bunch of gear if you don't end up using it much.
It's only a game, you don't need to be afaid of anyone, except for ONE person. Its not the teenager with a marker worth more than your car. Its not the SPPL player with about 35 BPS firing rate. Its the 40 year old guy lying in a corner, taking a nap before the game begins. His camo will probably be old, and he will most likely be toting a pump. He's been playing since before you were born, and if he mentions how much he didn't like when he had to play with oil based paintballs, make SURE he is on your team. This guy is a ghost.-Match99

If anything i'd say im Pro for the ideas of:

Remote line: A 24 once tank is pretty large, definatly find a place to put that becuase it will really wieght your marker quite a bit. any yourself come to think of it. but it will feel alot less if its supported on your hips. ( not your lower back, big thing to watch. you want the wieght of the tank on your hips.)

E-grip: always a nice option, you can definatly ease the effects of trigger finger with this... or make them worse. but only time will tell

clicky pen mod: hasnt been mentioned. but in short. homemad modifycation that roughly 75% of tippmann users are aware of. the other 15% are becoming aware.

barrel kit: always a nice thing to have when your constantly changing paint or fields, unless your a sponsered by a paintball manufactorer who will supply you with a specific type.

My against ideas:

Larger hopper: stick to your normal 200 round cyclone loader... infact you have a local shop nearby grab a Tac-cap their great for helping you lower your markers wieght and profile. plus it might help your accuracy problem which you mentioned before ( nobody in this forum is a paintball crack shot. thier just used to thier marker thats all)

a stock: when you/If you plan on usuing a remote line try without the back stock, the usless weight will only slow you down. plus the stock itself tends to get in the way of your mask.

above all keep it simple.

keep it simple stupid.

Clicky pen mod + fang trigger = nearly being able to walk a 98c's trigger. To make this legit, I'd suggest a stock. You can find 6 positon adjustable stocks on Amazon for around $20. Stocks give excellent stability, and don't add on too much weight (at least the adjustable ones don't).
