my team uses a tactic that in the begining most of the team goes and hides on a main trail that the other team may come down sonner or later in the game. if it is a 7 man team like mine than put 3 on the trail 2 on the flag and have 2 move up the main trail not really hiding but trying to get the attention of the other team so that they will come down the trail. when the other team sees you if it looks like they can over power you fall back down the trail and lead the team into the trap. when you are behind the trap you can stop running and turn around and shoot back whgen you stop it signals to the players hiding to shhot at them as well so that the easy 4 vs. 2 turns out to be 5vs.4 and you want one of your players that was in the woods to fall back to a bunker behind them so that they can not retreat and you can clean up the trail easil then move on and do it somewhere else. :D

so what do think about it
If you pay for your own paintball equipment put this in your sig.
If your a Christian paintballer put this in your sig.

Honestly -- sounds like you got a team of bunker queens. What if the other team bunkers in as well. Makes a long game. Many here will agree that people that bunker in all day are not strategic at all. This can be done by any newbie.

Also with this tactic you really aren't getting any possible objects.

Not flaming here. Just mentioning my opinion as you asked for.

I agree with slinkyaroo. This is just an ambush that is shown in to many war movies. If the other team digs in then the whole plan goes to hell.It would only really work if the other team is really aggresive and throws themselves at one spot. The chance that this would happen is slim so the chances of the tactic working isnt that great. So as a tactic it isnt that good.

This is similar to the tactic I posted, http://forum.specialopspaintball.com/index...howtopic=119429

It's the same basic principle, but the one I posted is much cleaner and more organized. Is this what you mean in your tactic? Draw the opposition to an ambush location? Well, that is how it would be done. Many people think that if you already have 8-10 guys, you might as well go ahead and use the classic suppress-and-flank tactic.
