As the Chicago Militias first year I'm pleased at what me and my team have accomplished. We started out as a group of four friends looking for a way to intensify our paintball experiences. We were all Mil-Sim players so we wanted to come up with a unique unit to base our team after. With everyone doing special forces, S.A.S, and other well known units we decided to make our own. We went with Chicago Militia. Chicago because thats the city we all love and how we know eachother. Militia because we're a group that gets together every week to play, not because we want to overthrow the goverment. We had three practices to perfect are skills working together as a team before our first game. Our first game was Living Legends II, by then we had picked up another team member and high hopes for the future. We won LL2 and quickly learned what we needed to improve on. Over the summer we practiced hard and gained four new members to add to the roster. We were getting ready for next months game, Training Day V.
To our surprise we were selected to play along with other teams like the Hellions, chicago Heritecs, Phalanx, OP-4, and the Spiritus Raptors. Not only that but we were selected to be the special forces element for our whole side. We ended up flanking the rangers several times and attacked their base, putting their whole team in chaos. After that we participated in the NPPO's big game "Battle of the Badges". We were a terrorist unit hired by gangs for protection from the cops . We set up defensive positions around our gang lord employer. Wave after wave of hopeless police attacks were destroyed by our team. We decided that we were going to go after them instead and thats exactly what we did. Even though the CPD swat team were using pieces of debris for ballistic sheilds we out flanked their every move. With the season coming to a close we're opening up our ranks to any serious Mil Sim Scenario players interested in joining a team.

We will practice at least twice a month and will have a much busier game schedule for the 2010 season. Contact us so you can be put into our recruitment process. www.myspace.com/chicagomilitia
