First off, stay away from the Smart Parts markers, especially if a Proto is in your price range. Secondly, for a loader, I'd recommend either a new 18V Spyder Fasta ($100) or a used Halo B or Reloader B.

PM7 or epiphany are what I would suggest. Also despite what several people say Smart parts markers are great.

Out of that list, the PM7 is far and away the best choice.

The ephaniys that I have seen have all failed and not been the greatest marker in the world. The Ions work great if they are not touched, ever. But from that list I would go for the PM7, it will out proform either of the smart parts markers you have listed there.

Meh, I think those are heavy loaders. You can find used VLocitys and new Torques in the same price range.

Definitely the M7 though. Not because I blindly hate SP, but because its a good marker. One of my friends uses a Minion and its the same thing with different milling basically, and its great. I would look into a UL eventually because I hate Trices' grips, but he has no qualms with it so shoot it before you invest $200 in a new frame.

Not for the price you pay, IMO. Spend a little more, get a lot more quality with another brand (such as the Proto Matrix 7, which I also recommend).

Thresholds are nice too. My local shop has one on display I got to hold.

Also, what price range are you looking at specifically? If you can go $500-600, you can get a used 06 Cyborg in great condition and it will FAR outperform any of those options you've listed above. You could also get an 05 Cyborg for around $400 or an 04 for $300-350.

With a Cyborg, you'd basically need to lube it in the Spring, lube it near the end of Summer and replace the battery once every year or two and that's pretty much all there is to it.

Look into the Alien markers. You can get an Interceptor for $250 used. Lightweight, great on air, easy on the wallet, and pretty simple to maintain.

Neither, Go with Dangerous Power Fusion. Either the new F8 or F7. Read the reviews on pbreivew.com, they will blow away a proto or sp in the same price range.
