I'm quite new to paintball and I've had a pod's lid open on me as I pulled it from my vest and spilled all the paintballs all over the ground. So it got me thinking about how to shoot more and refill less. You could create a backpack with a large inside pocket shaped like a funnel pointed down with rigid walls. Then run a line from the bottom of the backpack to your marker. I bet a backpack could hold a lot more than any loader. I suppose the tricky part would be designing a strong flexibale tube feed from the backpack to the marker. Think of it as a remote loader similar to a remote HP Tank.

Actually something like this has already been done. I saw some pictures of it in one of the elite weekend threads. Not sure if the guy has a pattent on it already or not but supposedly it works great.

You do also have to figure in the fact that although the gas in a remote line is under pressure, the paint in a "remote" won't be, and so won't travel against the force of gravity, making it necessary for some sort of force feeding system.

I read that link about the backpack loader powered by an airpump to push the paint through the tube and it was amazing, especially the videos of it on youtube!! I'll run a search before I post a question next time about my big idea.
