[SIZE=7][FONT=Impact]I've been playing for a year now and own a tippman 98 custom (witch fits me the best and has never let me down :D ) But wanted to switch my air source from C02 to HPA?N2. now r HPA & N2 the same thing? if a gun can use N2 can it use HPA? And also i Heard that HPA is just compressed air, so could u fill up ur tank with an air compressor? <_<

that is a very dangeous idea you could make the tank lop-sided or it could explode DO NOT FILL YOUR TANK WITH AN AIR COMPRESSOR

Okay lets see. First no you can't successfully fill a HPA tank with any "normal" shop air compressor. Those only use up to 200 psi not the 3000 or 4500+ that the tank holds.
Second: Trying to won't do jack but make you look like an idiot.

And I can't say this enough if you don't have any first hand experience or factual answers on the subject don't post your "theories"

N2 = HPA = Compressed Air.

any marker can use any of them.

a tank can't get "lop-sided" from air.... think about that. when's the last time air didn't spread out evenly?

......to get the air into the tanks, paintball stores/fields use compressors a lot of the time. These compressors are built to go up to 3000 or 4500 psi..... your average compressor in your garage might be able to do 500psi.
.......So don't try it.

A scuba shop should be able to do it.
