It's been a realpleasure to get to be a part of specops if only on the internet here. these forums taught me alot about the sport, and i still think there's hope for the specops line. i just wish someone from the original company kept their fingers in the mix. if it wasn't for y'all, i never would've known about the double trouble. aka. my other girlfriend. lol.

Well, maybe one day we'll run into each other outside this forum...until then, "Vaya con dios!"

It's my new company. Initially it will be purely paintball oriented...retail sales, information, blogs, articles, and hopefully the old brigade/game locator system. Eventually it will encompass an entire "Extreme Lifestyle" line...Paintball, music, tattoos, travel, and activities...but the extreme version of all those things.

Sounds interesting. Will the paintbal part cater more to both woods ball and speedball, or primarily just one?

This sucks man, SpecOps has changed so much... I remember the good times when I joined and anything that had to deal with PB had the words Spec Ops written all over it, now its different. Good times man good times...

To me, paintball is paintball...I prefer woods/scenario myself but I also enjoy jumping into a game of speedball here and there...so I want to support all paintball players.

This is exactly how I feel about the two. If my choice is no paintball or speedball, I'll choose speedball everytime! I think there are valuable skills that can best be learned in speedball. Don't denigrate one over the other. They're BOTH fun!!

Didn't see it coming, but good luck out there! Can't wait to see why your new company brings to the table for paintball! I expect nothing but great things.

Your T2 cases are Delicious.
Ever thought of making a Speedball marker Case?

Marker
Barrel Front spot
3 spots for barrel backs (as most markers now have 1 front and various back bores)
Swab pocket
Pull through pocket
Allen key loop
Mini O-ring case built in (have like a open zipper which opens to a thin plastic box with 3-4 seperators, labeled one as Tank
one as Regulator, One more as barrel or Bolt (maybe have a white top which the player can write what they put in there themselves?)

would be cool.
plus, Speedball guys like stuff like that.
Pocket for a Microfiber? Possibly a microfiber Case lining on the inside to not scratch anything? (which can be removed and washed if need be?)

THaAT sounds like a very good idea. I would def. buy one. Could even use the lining as a rag if it was removable if needed.

BRIAN "MOATI" & MARK RUSSELL JOIN SCENARIO TEAM "THE EXILED SOULS"

Brian "MOATI" Russell, formerly of Spec Ops, and now head of Xtreme Dreamz Paintball (http://www.xtremedreamzpaintball.com), and his brother, Mark Russell, have officially joined the scenario team, "The Exiled Souls". The offer extended by captain Thomas "Beaker" Heemer, was accepted by Brian and Mark during the Tippmann Extravaganza event held August 13th & 14th at EMR Paintball Park (http://www.emrpaintball.com), in New Milford, PA. "We are not only very happy, but also excited to have MOATI and his brother on the team,” said Tom. “They will make excellent assets, as they are both strong competitors, on and off the field." Brian added, "We look forward to playing with the Exiled Souls. They exhibit some of the best sportsmanship and family-paintball attitude of any team I've seen, and we're honored to join up with them.". Mark chimed in as well, “They are about the most hospitable team we’ve run across, and I am also glad we’ve joined up!” Unfortunately for The Exiled Souls, who played for House Harkonnen, both Brian and Mark had previously committed to playing for House Atreides at the EMR event, and thus weren’t able to secure a victory. The Russell brothers have promised to play on same side as the rest of the team at the next EMR event, “Fall Castle Conquest” in September.

The Exiled Souls are a scenario-style paintball team based primarily out of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. For more information, contact the team captain, Thomas "Beaker" Heemer, at 814-730-1453, or check out their website http://www.exiledsoulspb.com. Tom can also be contacted via email at thom1175@yahoo.com.

@ MOATI

Still gonna hang around the forum?
Furthermore - if you are "deuce-ing" during a game, you have more things to worry about than camo kneepads. -ger

When life gives you lemons, make orange juice and leave the world wondering how the hell you did it.

I wonder if I could turn one of those "Rascal" scooter thingies into an old-guy paintball tank? -Violator
