I'm getting a little lost about painting my gun, so far I've gathered i need to use paint remover to get all of the old paint off, over the internals then paint it, is there anything wrong with regular spray paint other than the lack of durablity? i can't afford an expensive paint job and have the time to do it on my own, but dont wanna screw up my gun. I can handle chipping paint....wat should i do?

You can make a homemade paint job relatively durable even when using spray cans. Just make sure you do a great job of prep and it should last a while. Defiantly remove the old paint, lightly sand the whole gun were you are painting, and take your time with the camouflaging process and you should do fine. I'm a big believer in prep and if you have the means take your parts to a sandblaster but if not spend some serious time with the sandpaper. Good luck and post some picks.
