OK If you were able to get any car you wanted for free, BUT you couldn't ever sell/trade/give it(ever), and you have to pay for maintenance, fuel, and insurance. What would you take? It's not the only car you can ever have. You can buy/sell other cars. You just can't sell this one.

I'd have to go for an Ariel atom 3.

I'm good at fixing my own stuff thank you. And my mother used to work with a guy that helped design this thing.

wasn't questioning your ability to fix it, just the cost of parts, let alone fuel and insurance.

Insurance is expensive no matter what you do. Its a diesel engine. Or electric. Kind of a "hybrid" in that aspect. The battery for all electric is good for only 20 miles though. besides, no where in the rules does is say we have to drive it. Sorry if my other post sounded a bit harsh.

McLaren F1 my dream car. Once i graduate i am getting a McLaren c12 and hopefully ill be able to get a F1 later on if McLaren lets me and i save some money =)
