When I first thought of the sniper role, I thought "LONGBOW". I had many questions about it and a member from the SO forum helped me out. Explosive. He started telling me everything he knew about it. I realized he really wanted to introduce other new players into this amazing sport.

One day, he popped a question on me. He had made his own ghillie and it looked very impressive from the pictures. He asked me to keep this on the DL because he wasn't out there to compete with SpecOps or make a bunch of them. I asked him about it and he told me he used to be one of the researchers for the Special Ops Action Ghillie. I thought this looked like a nice Christmas present! :D I had recently bought the Specops Ultralites too so the kit would be able to attach to my camo.

Explosive told me everything I needed to know about it and was willing to help with any questions I had. So, I thought about it, and bought it. It took a little bit for me to pay, but Explosive was very understanding.

I received the kit within a week. I hadn't used any type of Action Ghillie material before so I didn't really know what to expect. I started to put it together and it was awesome! I knew what he meant when he said it creates a 3D design. Although it took me a while, I am glad I did it.

I really wish that I didn't have over a foot of snow in my woods right now, otherwise I would be using this amazing suit.

Here are some pics of it (I am not for sure if I am complete because I think I didn't spread the camo out evenly enough on the legs.)

These first 2 pictures are just the front and back.

In this picture you can sort of understand the 3D concept.

If any one has any questions. PLEASE ASK. Also, feel free to comment about it.

Thanks :)

Pretty sweet. I PM'd Explosive about making a AG Poncho for me since I don't really need the full kit.

that's freaking sweet!

you are going to vanish when the snow melts!

MAN! cool to see it all together in your photos! you did a great job constructing it for your first time around!

Oh, and I think you should scatter leaves etc around your living room to give everyone a real perspective on
the Advance ghillies effectiveness. :dodgy:

dude that ghillie looks killer!

I'm putting together another top and bottom Advance Action Ghillie Suit
for me right now. I have plans on getting out to the woods for a
photo op. Will post photos when I get a chance to do all this. :ghillie:

SOLD another suit too.

I may only make 3 or 4 more of these suits...making up an ARID/DESERT package now.
omni pat, and some new netting that's a mix between desert and multicam.

W00DSBALL 5N1P3R I hope you dont mind me adding my 2 cents in about the kit I bought from explosive as well.

I bought a kit from explosive also and I found that it was one of the best paintball investments that I have ever made. It consists of some of the best camo pattern combinations put together by explosive, that fit the pictures of the environment i play in that I provided him with. Here Are some preliminary pics of it and I have not yet finished it but it is looking awesome so far. THank you Explosive for helping me make the best ghillie suit I could ask for. I 'll get more pics when its done.

Here is me crouching.

I have made the same kind of set up. with the omnipat action ghillie. the most important thing is to cover the gun and mask well.

This. They offer hard dark lines where clothes at least help blend your shape.
