If that's the field I think it is, they used to be called sat cong village, back in the late 80's. so if they are, and they've been around that long, they have to have something going for them.
We rode on the winds of the rising storm,
We ran to the sounds of the thunder.
We danced among the lightning bolts,
and tore the world asunder.

They've been around for a long time. The park has a lot of history behind it. I know in the late 80's it was scrutinized quite a bit because of its mil-sim theme. But that just kind of goes with the times. Weather or not it is still a good park today i don't know.

It's most likely the largest park on the west coast. Woodstalk up in the Santa Cruz mountains use to have about 100 acres but with new ownership it has changed. I don't know about it being the largest in the world, there's some pretty amazing fields in parts of eastern europe and asia.

Definatly NOT the largest field in the world. It is a great field, tho. For a medium sized park, it really isn't bad. I enjoyed the terrain and they do put on some well-run scenarios.

Youll learn pretty fast that the so cal pb scene tries not to support the Giant line of paintball parks...which includes SC...Gio the owner tries to scoop up fields and focuses on the we dont need our customers happy because they focus on large corporate groups/newbies that dont know an enjoyable day of paintball. They also have this bull plop 1600 case count of paint...and they price isnt any less. SC is an exception to the field they are turing it around and it is a nice field..the UWL was there and that was cool but the refs are terrible and fields are GREAT but there cool. MOst of the regualar players that go there only go there for team practices....I would never pay to play there but I end up there about twice a month to practice.

Overall..id check it out but I wouldnt be expecting much you could have a terrible day if your used to good fields...or a great day if your used to fields like it.

Peace,
Teddy K

I played both the UWLs that were there and they have a real nice place. I didn't get to play most of the fields and I not sure about entry or paint because I was there for a tourney but they defiantly have a nice set up.
