Here is a copy of the e-mail that I've sent to BT every week for the last month. I've yet to recieve a response. What do you guys think!?

Quote

To Whom it may concern,

I've owned an Apex barrel for about 4 months now (very pleased with it). I played the other day and while I was cleaning everything I noticed that the rubber pad that puts backspin on the ball has tears and cuts in the surface. Is this product defective? How do I go about sending it in for a replacement?
Thanks,
-Nick

First off,I have heard about this issue, but those that have had this problem admitted that this only occurred when they where sustaining high rates of fire for a long period, and or,they didnt stop shooting paint through it after a break...
Apparently the rubber tab isnt very abuse retardent, and they came to the conclusion that shards of broken paint was the main culpret, aswell as high rates of fire... So Im guessing that its not a really strong piece in the apex system...
Its a shame that no one has contacted you after that many trys.... Not a good way to make for a trusted company...

Several people at my field use high rates of fire with an Apex with no problems. They use good loaders so they never have breaks though, maybe that has something to do with it. I've had my Apex for about a year with no problems. Actually nobody at my field has ever had a problem with an Apex. I've seen some Apex ramps damaged by people walking through thick woods and letting twigs and branches enter the Apex jabbing the rubber ramp causing damage. Don't E-mail BT call them on the phone and ask for tech service.

Yeah calling would make it alot more easier and take the guess out of emailing. If you call, you know someone has listened to you and then you can explain the problem personally, im guessing BT gets a ton of emails and it might take a while to get to yours, and if they do you dont even know. Just call

The day I played I only broke 2-3 balls out of 4000 but I was raking my A-5's trigger all day. Switching to HPA now, my gun turned white at that game. I'll try calling them if I can get a number...

I happen to remember that Apex barrel being constantly full of paint at the Canobie SPring Shoot! You broke more paint than any one in my recent memory and that also allows for your gun freezing up solid.
