Well, this isnt a truly major problem for now, but I bought my ion used from ebay. Just got lube for it, and when i take it apart, i find i cant... the middle banjo fitting's allen wrench hole thingy is stripped, and when i try and turn it with a wrench it wont come out. I cant replace it, because its stuck, and i cant lube the bolt because i cant remove the banjo. Anyone know what i should do?

Drill it out a little then hammer the next size allen key into it.

If you do that be realllly careful since the Ion frame is cast, it can break pretty easily if you are putting that kind of pressure on it.

See if you can get some reallllly small needle nose pliers in the hole, open them to pry out on the outer edges of the how and slowly working it loose.

Can you get the one attached to the firing can off? If you can, you can leave everything else on the grip frame, and still be able to work with the bolt and eyes and everything.

Or, if you have a dremmel, or even a good file, you could carve a slot into the banjo fitting, and use a flat head screwdriver to get it out, and then just get a new banjo

got a set of allen wrenches, and used a 9/64 to get it out. now ill just use that one on the banjo instead of the 1/8.

I had the threaded part of the Banjo fitting get stuck in my Ion frame...since It was only the threaded part and the banjo fitting broke off I was able to use a easy out. I just bought the smallest one I could find and it worked like a champ!
